Aussie YA Bloggers Secret Santa 2014 Blog Hop

secretsantabanner

I’m very excited to be taking part of the inaugural Aussie YA Bloggers Secret Santa, which includes this blog hop! The questions below are to find out if I have been a good or a bad blogger this year and to help the santas and santees to get to know each other! There are also a few clues at the end for the person I have bought for – your gift is not yet on its way, I’m sorry, but it will be soon!

Questions

1. How are you going with your Goodreads challenge?
I’m nearly finished! I have read 129 out of 130 books and am 8 books ahead of schedule. I am on track to finish very soon (like within the next day or two) and surpass my challenge!

2. How many times did you post per week on average? Do you think you’ll post more/less in the future?
It varied week to week, sometimes I would post as much as five times and sometimes only two or three. I’m not sure whether I’ll post more or less but I’d like to post more to a schedule, which does require having a schedule in the first place (which I do not).

3. What is your Netgalley ratio?
Mine is 69.2% which is pretty good, only because I’ve been really careful about not going crazy with my requesting, although I have missed the archive dates for a couple (whoops!).

4. Have you been commenting on other blogs?
Not recently :/ I go through some stages where I am really good and keep on top of it but lately I haven’t been very good due to starting a new job and busy life stuff. I have every intention of improving! Looking forward to a more interactive 2015.

5. Did you read mostly review or non-review books this year?
A good mix of both, I think. I buy a lot of books so I try to get through them while staying on top of the review copies. There’s so many to read, both new and old!

6. What are your blogging goals for 2015?
Well there are some exciting things planned for next year at Crash My Book Party that everyone will be hearing about very soon! I would love to expand the blog’s presence in the blogging/book community and continue to enjoy it, interacting with bookish people and reading great books!

7. What is your favourite blogging moment/achievement of 2014?
I’ve enjoyed the whole experience – I only began blogging this year and I have loved every minute of it. It was crazy to watch my follower and view count start to rise and every comment makes me happy and proud! I have been able to be part of some great events that I wouldn’t have known about before, built relationships with fantastic publishers who love books as much as I do and have met a whole new community of people. It has all been a blast!

Based on your answers above, do you think you’ve been a good orΒ bad blogger this year?
I think I have been a good blogger this year!

Clues for my santee!
1. You are not the only blogger on your blog
2. We have both recently reviewed This Shattered World & Talon
3. The header of your blog includes fantastical things – fairies and dragons and trees (I love trees)!
