After spending six years in the care of a criminal, Kick Lannigan is rescued from the paedophilic movie maker at age twelve. She is confused, doesn’t remember much about the time before her kidnapping and worse, she doesn’t know where her loyalties lie. Soon Kick is plunged back into a world she thought she had left behind.
